Advisors can provide invaluable expertise, guidance, and introductions for startup companies.  As a resource to the community, we at Cooley GO have prepared a form of advisor agreement for use with Singapore companies. Our hope is that this form will help facilitate mutually beneficial relationships between startups and advisors in the region.

To learn more about working with advisors, head over to Board and Advisors. You can also visit Create and Protect for articles on protecting your company’s intellectual property.  In particular, our articles Addressing Advisors’ Concerns About Assigning Their Intellectual Property and Advice on Advisor Option Grants address specific questions that often come up with advisors, some of which may be relevant in Singapore.

Note that this document is intended only for Singapore companies. If you’re looking for a US version, check out our Form of Advisor Agreement for US companies.
