What I do:
I advise private companies across tech and life sciences on incorporation, governance, financings, and mergers and acquisitions. I also represent investors in transactions, from angel rounds to growth equity investments and exits. I interact with some of the brightest, most inspiring founders and investors in the world. It’s a privilege to play even a small role in supporting their growth and success.
What my clients value:
I was a strategy consultant (primarily scenario planning) before becoming a lawyer, so I view complex legal issues through a commercial lens. My clients appreciate that I can distill complex legal issues into straightforward business choices and help them consider how those decisions could play out long term.
When I’m not being a Cooley lawyer
I am planning and going on adventures with my husband and two young daughters, going on long runs and staying engaged in the UC Berkeley community, from advising early entrepreneurs and law students to attending sports events (Go Bears!).
Some of my clients:
Arena Intelligence, BioDrive, Harvey AI, Rebel Girls, Reducto AI, Singularity Education Group, Swish Robotics, BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Haun Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Moxxie Ventures, Norwest Venture Partners, The House Fund, and some exciting stealth companies and upcoming funds you haven’t heard of yet but will soon.
