What I do:
I counsel and support the growth of life science companies, in particular early stage life science companies, by translating their scientific innovations into strong intellectual property assets to maximize their business objectives.

Why Cooley:
Cooley has consistently been passionate about the development and growth of early stage companies and we have an unbelievable team of technical professionals with substantial expertise in the life science industry.

What my clients value:
Our deep technical expertise that allows us to understand and appreciate their scientific innovations at a detailed level. With this understanding, we then develop focused, strategic, business-oriented advice to support our client’s business and gain a competitive edge. In a fast paced and ever changing industry, we also focus on being responsive, efficient and candid with our communications and strategy.

I greatly enjoy traveling with my family and scuba diving in new locales. I am also an avid craft beer brewer.

Great reads:
My favorite non-fiction read of 2019 is Midnight in Chernobyl by Adam Higginbotham. My favorite fiction reads of 2019 are Blue Moon by Lee Child, The Night Fire by Michael Connelly and A Minute to Midnight by David Baldacci.

I root for:
Being born and raised in the greater-Boston area, I am a strong supporter of our professional sports teams (Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics), who have won more championships this decade than any other city in the U.S.
