Portrait of Daniel Rubin

What I do:

I work with private and public technology companies, supporting entrepreneurs at every stage of the company life cycle – from entity formation and early seed funding through late-stage financings and acquisitions. I also work with nonprofits and small businesses, providing support and advice on a wide variety of contract and corporate governance matters.

What my clients value:

Clients value my responsiveness, providing digestible and easy-to-understand answers to their questions, and listening to understand their underlying goals and concerns, rather than to simply identify which legal box to place them in.

Likes:

Country music, “Jeopardy!,” pingpong, chicken wings, and anything and everything Buffalo, New York.

Great reads:

“Prey” by Michael Crichton, “Project Hail Mary” by Andy Weir, “Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow” by Gabrielle Zevin, and of course, the entire “Harry Potter” series (but mostly “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”).

I root for:

The Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres. Let’s go, Buffalo!
