Practice Innovation Manager & Staff Attorney

Portrait of Brad Newman

I thoroughly enjoy problem solving and designing products and processes that work for lawyers, support staff and clients alike.

What I do:

I lead Cooley’s Information Services Practice Innovation team and help our emerging company attorneys develop unique processes, resources and technology for the delivery of Cooley services to our clients. I manage the site you’re on right now.

Before Cooley:
I co-founded a legal tech startup focused on connecting entrepreneurs and emerging companies with attorneys, then served as Director of Legal Affairs at StartX, an accelerator for startup companies based out of Stanford. Before that, I was at Ogilvy Renault (now part of Norton Rose Fulbright) in Toronto in their corporate and technology transactions group.

Why Cooley GO:
It crystallizes Cooley’s commitment to entrepreneurs and emerging companies by providing them resources to help them operate as efficiently as possible.
